  • What exactly is the problem? A photo of the broken piece or underside would be helpful so we could offer proper suggestions on how to repair.

Are you asking how to refinish damaged legs or a problem with how the legs are attached?

What is the problem with the legs? The picture doesn't answer this.

One of the legs is broken.

The leg is broken at the base of the table, I have tried to replace the preexisting screws but it seems to be stripped.

I would remove stripped screws, put some heavy duty wood epoxy type glue, (gorilla brand?) in the existing screw hole, if putting in a new (slightly larger screws) does not work for your repair, I would try using wooden tooth picks to create a smaller hole around the screw itself, hope this helps but I may not have explained it well, I need to show it in pictures,

You can do miracles with wood putty. Fill in the damaged area then refinish over the top of it. Hope this helps.

If the leg is loose look and see if it is held on with a large screw that just needs tightening. If it's broken maybe use a furniture glue like Gorilla Glue to fix it.
