Good luck!
Mix one part hydrogen peroxide to four parts water, and use that to water your plants. The soil will look fizzy at first. The peroxide should kill the fungus gnats' larvae without hurting your plants.
Spray the soil in your pots with "Safer soap"

Before you bring the plant inside, submerge it in 1 tbsp. per gallon of Dr. Bronner's castile soap. Be careful, don't use this on ferns. If you're transplanting a small plant, you can freeze the new soil to kill the gnats.

Remove the plant from the container and discard the old soil. Disinfect the pot or choose a new one. Fill with brand new potting soil. Take the plant that was in the old pot and rinse the roots under water until all old soil is removed and repot. Water, but do not overwater. Overwatering is the number one cause of plant disease and death. Fungus gnats can only set up house in soil that is kept constintly damp. Water plants only when the the top inch of soil is dry.
