How to repair wood veneer bedroom night table damaged by nail polish

    Use acetone to remove the nail polish. If you get into the finish on the veneer you should be able to sand it lightly and polish it out. Might require a slight bit of matching stain.

    How is it damaged by nail polish? big spill or little one....nail polish can become brittle over time. Can you try a dull knife blade and gently scrape? Was the finish on the night table intact? You might just resort to disguise and cover up. I found a square of tile... mounted it on a cork square....it fit the top...I called it good.

    You may have to strip it and restain.

    Try scraping off the nail polish. Then try acetone. If the finish is damaged, you might need to redo the top of it, sorry.

    Acetone should get rid of the nailpolish, then you can sand back a bit
