Good question. Maybe you should start a movement to give equal time to mobile home projects? There are sooooo many people living in mobile home parks that it should get some attention! Good luck!

Most DIY projects can be adapted for mobile homes. I lived in one for 12 years and even removed a wall!

Good Morning Bea :) What it appears to me that you are saying is that you are living in a mobile home and are not able to receive any television station transmissions from channels broadcasting DIY television shows. I am not certain it has as much to do with you living in a mobile home as it does with whether or not you have cable television services, and what cable plan you are paying for every month. I use to live in a mobile home and received DIY programs along with Nature shows and History shows, etc because I had cable coming in to my home, and now I live in a standard 2-story home, without any cable television hook-up (just standard rabbit ears), and receive only local stations, NONE of which have DIY shows. On the other hand my daughter, who lives in a standard 2-story house and who DOES pay to have cable stations broadcast to her television, receives several channels which carry DIY shows. Bea, if you DO pay to have cable and yet are NOT receiving any

DIY programming, I suggest you call your cable company and see what can be done so you CAN begin receiving them. I wish you the best of luck, and Thank You for using HOMETALK for answers :)

This is so true! I can get DIY shows but none of consist of any mobile home updates or remodels. What you do in a home often doesn't apply to what can be done in a mobile home!!!
