Desperate for a retaining wall idea

I have a stucco home and need a retaining wall with some steps built around my circlular driveway. I can not afford what they want for poured concrete or a professional mason. i am desperate to figure out how to construct a "formal" looking retaining wall inexpensively. Thank you!

don't know how many feet your wall is ?? but you wave two ways you can go ,1 if you have a wheelbarrow you can mix your own cement or rent a mixer buy your on cement in a bags mix it your self .

many ways to do this project but myself i would build a cement wall , buy cement blocks and quick crete cement around them to make a wall...must level area for them either build up with dirt or best dig surface down 3" or so and start, i have seen video of this " this old house"...so hit the internet for a look at it, they do an EXCELLENT job ! good luck!

I would think the problem isn't the cement but the forms you must build to hold the cement. Cement is easy.

Why not use stacked stones or brick for your retaining wall?
