I have that same problem. I use "The Works" and it works foe me Just squirt it on and let sit for a few minutes and just toilet brush away. I get The Works at Dollar General but you can find it in most stores. Wal-Mart, Big Lots,& most grocery Stores in the cleaning Isle.

If the stain does not come off with chemicals, try a pumice stone. That was the only way I could remove stains like yours. You can get a pumice stone in the same area of the store where the cleaners are.

I would try Bar Keeper's Friend (like Comet) found at hardware stores. Then I got rid of my clients by putting a bleach toilet tablet in the tank cause thats where its coming from. It will clean out the tank.

i don’t think you meant clients. What else did you remove? I used to use those blue tank tablets until the 2nd visit from my “not free” plumber told me those things can injure the tank guts. How often do you use them? Thanks.
