Do NOT use any stain buy ONE TIME stain from onetimewood.com. I have had mine on for EIGHT YEARS and it still looks new. First, pressure wash, let dry, then apply this incredible product. If you use anything else, you will be reapplying this time next year.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use Behr Deckover...........it's terrible stuff. Ours started peeling off in less than a year. And we followed instructions to a tee. I would use an oil based stain. Thant's what we did AFTER having to sand all of the Behr stuff off. BTW Behr did refund our money for the Deckover, but not our time for sanding, etc.

You might try an oil-based semi-solid stain. It has good coverage on older decks, yet allows the wood grain to show. There are many colors from which to choose.
