Is there any way is get rid of plastic that melted in the oven ?

you should be able to put a bag of ice on it, maybe 20 minutes, then you should be able to scrape it off with a putty knife. Good luck!

Not too hard once it cools to just pick it off. If some spots are really stubborn just slightly warm the oven and it should easily scrape off. Hubby left a microwave plate in the oven and then turned the oven on to preheat it for dinner. didn't take long for it to start melting!

I would try to gently scrape it off with a razor blade. Goo Gone might also work. Good luck!

I had that happen and had to purchase a new oven bottom. My ex-husband was thrilled.

Just don't put it on self-cleaning mode, like a neighbour did...The fire department had to come in with huge fans, to get rid of the toxic fumes.
