I use a vinegar /water solution with a couple of drops of Dawn liquid dish soap. A squeegee is a great tool to use, but a microfiber cloth, or newspaper help the Windows be streakless. My mom used a cup of ammonia in a quart of water, sprayed it on and wiped it of with cloth diapers. Her windows always shined
Best thing ever!!! called Kaywos. Call 1-877-799-6633. No chemicals, just wet it and go. Use over and over. Best kept secret! You can wipe in any direction, and no streaks. You will love it. Can wipe a whole house of windows in like 45 minutes. I'm a custodian, and we all bought them, and use at school.

Mix one cup of white vinegar with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on the window and then wipe with paper towels.
