Try a pastel color so the room looks bigger than it is. My husband painted my laundry room. One wall a light sand color, the rest are a peach-melon color, and the ceiling a bright white. Next use high gloss if you have small children. This paint can be wiped with a wet rag. My guest bathroom is a light purple, and it's small, with an oval mirror, and 3 post lighting. If the room is cold use a warmer colour =CREAM or PALE PINK Duckegg Blue etc. If it is warm room, use cooler colours WHITE, Blue, Green etc.
