How to Bleach well?

Got New u v light system for the house . Need to put bleach in well to kill bacteria .he injected into water line in home .did not do well .anyone else had it done that way before ?

We had to have bleach added to ours a few yrs ago, We where selling and found out there was contamination due to heavy monsoons, We just called the well company that installed the well they came out and added directly to the water after opening it up, very inexpensive and only took them maybe 20 mins. Never had a problem with it since.
