I have wasps in between a double fence wooden pickets...ideal place for them to build their nests..any natural ways to deter them. I am not a carpenter so dover the 4 inches with wood would not be something I can do! They also seem to love my covered deck. Thank you

The only way to get rid of wasps/hornets is to kill spray the nest after dark. Check in the morning to kill any lingerers. They will only try to kill you if you use vinegar, that is only like tear gas to them. The next best solution is to contact a pest control company in your area who knows the particulars of the pests in your particular area. Maybe first resort is your Co-operative Extension Service. Every state has it's own Co-operative Extension Service thru each State's University.
