To add a more beachy flair use strings of little shells in place of beaded strings. go to a second hand store, can white, blue or grey spray paint. Attach seashells from $1 store
Buy a used chandelier and wrap it in rope, or replace the crystals with shells. You can also swag shell necklaces. You could attach driftwood to it.
