Hello Patsensing, I don't know if your bedframe is metal or if it is wood with metal legs (I can't imagine that wood legs would bend. They would break and snap off). I do know that there are all sorts of bed legs/feet you can get online. Below is a weblink to a page where they have a lot of them. Otherwise I would take them off and put the bed up on cinder bricks that have been glued together with a concrete adhesive or Gorilla Glue. Good Luck Pat, and thanks for coming to HOMETALK for help.

They are metal..no screws but brads..

Cinder blocks maybe the only answer to solving the problem

If they aren't welded on you could replace them with casters. If they are wood, the screw inside is probably bent, and the wood frame splintered.

Hello Patsensing, do the legs of your bed frame fold for storage when not in use?

If they do, perhaps they are supposed to have a "lock" position that should keep them extended for use. Maybe you aren't getting yours in that "locked open" position in which case you might need someone strong to assist you. Or possibly that lock position no longer works then replacing your bed frame or the cindex block idea should do the trick, but please try to set cinder blocks so you won't be hitting them with your feet as you make up the bed! I'm forever catching my toes on the legs of my bed frame. Best wishes!

Visit Habitat for Humanity Restore Store and see if they have any metal bed frames in the size you need to replace the one you have.

If replacing the frame doesn't seem to be an option or just not your first choice, try turning the frame over and making sure the legs are fully extended before you turn it back over to add weight to it. If the legs are not fully extended, they will fold when weight is added.
