I have to get rid of my carpet in my house. I would love to have tile

    its easy to rib up the carpet, unless its glued, but not sure of ur ques?

    Use a sharp utility knife to cut it in sections. It will be easier to remove and haul. You can stack it for transport too. If you do it yourself you will save in the cost of removal.

    Shop for a good quality tile. One that has the pattern all the way through, not just on the surface. It may cost more in the beginning but save lots in the end! The reason is....if it chips you still have patter in the tile and not a different color background.

    Why not look into vinyl plank? I just had my house done with this and I love how it turned out and so easy to clean. No grout or lines like you get with tile as I have it in my master bathroom and find it not as easy to keep clean and the vinyl plank takes a lot of wear and doesn't show marks easily. We live on 5 acres so somebody is always tracking in or scuffing there feet and it still looks perfect.
