What is the best paints or finishes to use on a laminated surface.

I have laminate wood cube box storage towers , plus a laminated table which will take a lot of punishment in the way it will be eventually utilised

    If you don't want to sand anything down, you could use chalk paint, which goes right on usually with no sanding needed. Then finish it off with a good water based poly protector, especially for the table, to protect it.

      Thank you. I'm not averse to doing a little sanding if necessary, but like the sound of your suggestions. These items are currently in use in my shop but they need a new look, an upgrade. This method sounds straight forward and easier than I expected. Many thanks

    Use ESP Primer then Undercoat and then Gloss.
