How can I make one of them a feature wall? I like the wood plank and textured wallpaper look but I don't think it will stick to my wall.

You have to use a backing paper first then paper the wall.
Why not paint it a different color?
PAINT FEATURE WALL a different colour or sponge design on it freehand etc.
