How does one go about choosing safe palettes for DIY in Canada?

If you are talking about color, google neutral colors for rooms. If you just want "safe" any light beige or grey or off white color is considered pleasing and can be used with just about any other color. I don't think it really matters today if you are in Canada or the US.
