Packaged Flower Seeds

In the spring, I purchased several packages of flower seeds but never got them planted. I would like to know the best way to store them for next year (i.e., in my basement, in the refrigerator, in my garage, or where)?

I would store them in a cool dry place!

Put the unopened envelopes in a dry paper bag and put in cool ventiled area. Watch the expiration dates. If you write on the bag what in it and when to plant, you have an upper hand.

Cool and dry refrigerator is best put packets in Mason jars or containers and keep away from freezer. Some seeds do expire in 2-3 yrs but most should be good. May take a little longer to germinate but the plants will be the same as fresh.

For the most part, they will not winter over.

There should be dates on the seeds,I would check that first before planning on storing. If they are ok a cool dark place is the best place
