You can but you can't use just any old paint. It must be epoxy that is formulated for your tub. Kits are available at Walmart Lowe's and Home Depot.

Yrs the epoxy paint that you'll want to use is every SMELLY!! Please make sure to follow each and every direction as 1 error can ruin the whole project. You'll be without the use of the tub for several days!

Yes , did one two months ago . Sanding and prepping I the most important .

If not properly prepped , paint will not stick . Epoxy is good , there is also rubber base paint . Roll on or bruch on is better , spray on is faster but produses bad fumes .

Wear protection from fumes , use ventilation , consult an expert where you buy your paint .

Check out U tube . There are also tub liners available around $400. 00 .

Check around . Good luck !

Yes you can, or maybe I should say it can be done--there are professional people who refinish & repair fiberglass tubs---your local home center plumbing department may know someone----your local plumber may know someone----plumbing wholesalers use these people to repair their Tubs and Showers Units!!!
