Where can I get the thick sticks that were used to make hexagon vase??

sorry, I looked all over Hometalk for a Hexagon vase and I can't find it here. I wish I could help.
Michaels craft store sells popsicle sticks -- hundreds in a box. I also thing JoAnns fabric sells them.
a "thick stick" would be a dowel rod then cut to length. Etsy has lots of craft supplies if you can't find at the usual craft stores.

I would try the lumber yard for some lumber that would work. Or a HD, Lowes, etc.
