An Antique Dresser Makeover

Ok Hometalkers! Recently I asked how to repair peeling veneer because I had a great antique dresser rescued from Goodwill in need of some love. I looked past the veneer issue, thinking it would be the perfect piece to start with since the damaged part was on the side near the bottom. With all your informative responses and positive good will (no pun intended!) I present to you the finished piece! Thanks again. You guys rock!

Very nice. Is it just my area, or are furniture donations to Goodwill way down? For the last few months, there has been next to nothing in the four Goodwills near me (relatively). I can't wait until spring when the church yard sales begin. I'm at the point where I'll buy ANYTHING so I'll have a project!
