    Hello Rosetta :) Thanks for coming to HOMETALK to find out how to remove mold from particle board. Get your safety supplies gathered (safety glasses with vent holes, long rubber gloves, AND an N95 RESPIRATOR, along with long sleeved shirt and long pants) becuse you are about to come into contact with hazardous stuff --- MOLD --- and stinking bleach:

    be carful when removing mold - every time you disturb it you risk spreading the spores in the air that can spread throughout your home. if it is a small area try spraying first with straight vinegar and wear a mask always. If it's a larger area consider removing the entire board before it spreads. if it was significantly wet the materials underneath may be damaged as well and any surface treatment will not work - call a professional if you can.
