Try putting small trays of charcoal in your cupboards. The charcoal should absorb the smell. Baking soda helps as well.

Coffee beans are an excellent way to rid your home or car of unwanted odo. Try putting some coffee beans in a small dish and place it in the room that has the offensive odors.
There are paints designed to seal/cover the smell of smoke infused room walls that should work.

I know you can put a bowl of bi.-carb. soda in the refrigerator to eliminate/absorb smells, and also in your wardrobe to absorb moisture. You can try this, but I don't know if it will work or not. Worth a try.
Set out a bowl of vinegar. The paint smell will dissipate as the vinegar does.
