Turquoise is big this year but I'm a huge fan of ivory. Then rub with a light stain and wipe for an instant antique effect.

How about metallic? Personally, I'd pick a copper color or a green patina color that makes these look like aged copper.

I would do a metal look. Silver, copper, gold, antique gold, burnished/antique anything. They will look, chunky, heavy and complement anything you pair them with.

I have been thinking of a silver or a gold metal look. A friend suggested a Chinese red. Oh... the decisions.

I would paint them black, and go to Michaels and get a copper (or whatever color you like) rub. You use your fingers and rub where you want highlights. Easier and prettier than paint...

It appears that "copper" might be a theme here. Lol. Would making these items look like mercury glass work too????

I would take a color that you would like to highlight in your home and paint it that color and maybe antique it.

That's my dilemma... I'm not sure. Sooooo many ideas. I know that I'm drawn to these types of pieces, but not the color of these in particular.

Would a gel stain work?? Just throwing the idea out there. As you can see on the right, I have a taller one. Actually 2 of them. It has weathered wood look to it. I'm not going to change the color of those tall ones. *sigh*
