First clean them well. Then wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any residue from finger prints. Then prime with Benjamin Moore Fresh Start. Dry according to the directions. Paint with choice of patterns, but remember, the texture will still be there. Do not expect it to be smooth. When done apply two or three coats of Varathane Ciamond hard finish. It is formulated for floors. I use the water based formula. It is very tough. But do remember, it can still be scratched if you do not take care with it.
