How to fix area in back of kitchen cabinet handles

The paint is wearing away in this area on my cabinets. Any fixes beyond painting with same color again?

I don't see a picture but, you local hardware store should have decorative washers that you can put between the handles and doors
Is it where your fingers touch the knob then door? You can get things that go between knob & door/drawer so your fingers don't touch wood. Check your home depot or hardware store & take a picture to show what your trouble is & they can help to get what you need. Good luck.
