Try using alcohol. Then lightly sand it off.
But goo off on spot & leg set & use a scraper to scrap off glue & then wash the area with hot water & soap. Let dry then sand. Good luck.
Try baby oil or vegetable oil. If that doesn't work, use Goo Gone or Vaseline. If that doesn't work, use a blow dryer on the lowest setting and see if that loosens the glue, followed by the oil.
goo off
WD40 or googone
goo-gone for lables
googone for labels
First I would try alcohol instead of an oil based solvent because there is less chance of staining the wood. If that does't work then you can go to the Goo Gone.
Gel hand sanitizer. It's alcohol-based but because it's think it will sit on the sticky area without running and penetrate the adhesive. It also won't leave a greasy residue like some other options .
The gel hand sanitizer was the total winner! We tore down some extremely old paneling that had the crazy green paper glued on with an extremely horrible substance. But what he went couldn't just peel off scrapped off like dream after it set for a mij
Hello,
Try using Surgical Spirit to remove it!
Goo gone works very well
WD 40 has worked wonders on every sticky thing I have encountered. Even removed labels off off wine bottles (65 of them). With the crate, I would spray it on and use paint scraper ( the one with the straight razor). If the wood is textured, use a hard tooth brush
