What were they washed with? if it was TSP, you probably damaged the finish. I use Dollar Tree Awesome Orange and Awesome Degreaser to clean my clients cupboards. Wear gloves. To get a shine back on, get some wipe-on satin poly. Make sure their clean first.

Try giving the cabinets a good brisk rub-down with a microfiber cloth. Mine seem to get a "haze" on the finish and it just needs to be buffed off to have a shiny finish again. Mine are a wood finish but this would work on a painted surface also.

Murphys oil products are wonderful for cabinets. Depending on what they are made of, you can try a few drops of lemon essential oil in water and wipe them.
