Wintering elephant ear plant

I got a elephant ear plant in early summer, it's been on my deck all summers and looks great. My question is now the fall and winter will be coming to Mn zone 4 what do I do with it? Bring it in, cut it back? Any help will be much appreciated thanks.

Dig it up carefully and cut the stalks within 6" of the bulb. Rinse off any remaining soilwithin 6" of the bulb and gently rinse off the soil. Air dry the bulb for a day or so before placing in a dry paper bag.
Store the bag in a dry place that remains below 55 and above freezing such as the basement or garage.
I have two huge planter that have two elephant ears each and numerous coleus. They need to be taken out before they freeze. Let them dry and store them in a paper bag each in a cool dark place in the basement until planting time next spring. Make sure the planter is plenty warm before you plant them or it takes forever for them to come up, as they work on the roots first.
Bring it in! Trim the leaves only when they wither naturally.
i don't cut mine back just bring it in doors.
It is best to overwinter the bulbs not the plant,dry the bulbs out,and stop them in sphagnum peat moss in a paper bag in a dark ciil location
