    It depends on why it's hard to open. If it's just suction, stick your fingers under the gasket before pulling the door open. I have this same trouble if both the fridge and freezer door are open at the same time. Whichever one is closed last gets 'stuck.'

    Clean the gunk from the hinges. Vaseline attracts gunk which makes things worse. Get some silicone spray and use that.

      I tried silicone on my squeaking computer chair and a few days needed to respray - USE WHITE LITHIUM spray, it's a little messy but after a year the only thing that squeaks in my chair is me trying to get up . all of my car doors and the van's sliding door are free movements and NO SQUEAKS !

      lithium is the only spray I'll use
