If you want a commercial product, without having to get a silo test etc - just get Scotts brand. It is tried and true. They have it for weeds and one without.
It depends on the lawn and your soil. A soil test will tell you what nutrients are missing from your lawn. Nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium rations for early fall are generally 3:1:2 or 4:1:2.
