DIY Growth Chart

I went to our local Home Depot and bought a 6' by 7" already cut. Then I faux stained it using milk paint . I mix one fork full of milk paint to 3x's water ratio mix mix mix. Then brush it on nod let it dry about 15 minutes then I take a sanding sponge , that has already been used a few times (so super fine) and wet sand using hemp oil. Then I take a pair of old pantyhose and rub in the hemp oil. Creating this amazing farmhouse faux stain ;). I am working on a full video tutorial for the growth chart , can't wait to share more!
I measured and hand painted lines and made simple number stencils using the computer.
Here it is all done, I did the black in Milk Paint, no bonding agent since it's raw wood.
We have our DIY growth chart next to the hutch my grandfather built and I gave new life too with some paint :)
