They do! They're awesome, just double check that the ones you purchase are good for the weight of what you'd like to hang- enjoy!!
I have used them in the bathroom to hold towels. At Christmas to hang garland and other decorations. Love them. The only place they didn't work for me was the front door to hold a small wreath. Don't know why they would fall off after a few days.
Yes as long as you use the correct size. Don't try using a l # hook for a 5# item to hang
