I have a poinsettia from last year saved outside in very shaded area. Looks nice & green. How can I revive it to bloom the beautiful flowers?

in order for a poinsetti to “bloom” it has to have hours of darkness such as in a closet, dark basement or other dark area. The blooms are actually leaves that have not turned green.

the best thing is to Google that so you get the proper answer for your area. They will re-bloom a smaller bloom. Their normal time is not at Christmas, & the Poinsettia are forced with chemicals to bloom out of season & make huge blooms. I love my saved Poinsettias the foliage is beautiful, & the re-blooming is also exciting because it is natural.
