How do I get rid of the roots from my neighbor's aspen trees without

I'm not sure if u can. U would have to chop the roots with an axe or something. IDK how far out from the tree you would have to cut to save the tree. I would Google that if I were you. Good luck!

there is no way to get rid of the roots,depending on where they are in your yard ,perhaps you can place a small rock wall and do container planting,mulch or rocks

The roots are what keeps the tree fed and alive. They also anchor the trees in the ground. I would not touch them if I were you. The trees could come come down, you could kill branches which would could fall AND you could become legally responosponsible responsible for their loss of trees, any damage, etc.

Roots are the lifeline to the trees (much like the human's vessels and veins) and any damage to them will eventually kill them. If you are having issues with surface roots in your yard, you could discuss the issue with your neighbor and, perhaps, have him help cover the cost to lightly cover the roots with topsoil and grass or flowers to provide a layer of protection.

I'm so sorry for your situation. Are the roots from your neighbor's tree preventing you from caring for your yard? We had a maple in our yard that had huge roots over the front lawn. We had to build up top soil over them so we could mow without damaging our mower blades or grinding the roots. We were able to plant a "cottage garden" eventually with perrenials so we didn't have to worry about it any longer.
