Glue pennies over the entire surface, seal to protect and use as garden art. Spray it with mirror paint and use as a gazing ball in the garden. Or cover it with glass beads or polished stones.

Glass stones could be glued on with silicone adhesive to turn them into gazing balls.

make large lady bugs or bees out of them. Would be so cute. Wire hangers for bug antlers and paint them like lady bugs or bees or dragon flies or even make like humming birds. Put them in your garden with re-bar or PVC pipe glued in the finger holes and put in the garden.

Take the ball, paint with high gloss silver , give it a couple of coats, let dry completely then cover with 2 or 3 coats of extra high gloss clear, let dry for a few days , then get a Pedestal, set ball on top, now you have a gazing ball for the yard, that won't break easy, and would be heavy to steal.
