Get a weed killer and spray. There are tools for picking things up without bending or kneeling too much, if at all. When needing to place the dead weeds into a bag, use the grabber. We have one and use it for all sorts of things. Even killing spiders, though we sometimes miss. Better to use the end of the cane on that one! ;) Place a bag into a chair, instead of the ground, or even better if you can manage it, use a wheel barrow, with a bag in it when placing weeds that have been grabbed with the grabber! No bending and barely any lifting there, hopefully! Good luck and best wishes in your success and hopefully, this will provide less stress upon your joints and body. We often use a very large garbage bag, one small part knotted, and draped securely around the rim of our large grocery cart. It has a handle and wheels, providing mobility, easy grip handle. Though having to lift it may be difficult at times. Hmmm, I really hope you can find a good solution for your concerns. Good luck and Blessings!
Contact your community center and see if you can dedicate your yard to become community food gardens. If that’s not an option try spectracide which is a broadleaf weed killer. It wont kill grass. Another option is vinegar and salt But it will kill everything. http://homeguides.sfgate.com/use-vinegar-salt-weed-killer-49329.html
My best answer (and the easiest for me) is to pour boiling water over the roots of the weeds/grass I want to remove. It kills the plants immediately, and I can pull them once they are cool enough to handle them. On the plus side, you can immediately plant without fear of killing the new plant or seeds. You can also use vinegar to kill unwanted weeds/grass, but this carry over can kill new or adjacent plants.
Best solution for this job is 1st, pour boiling water or real hot on the weeds, wait until they die about 2days. Next soak the weeds with the hose, wait 24 hrs, then get as close to the ground as possible, and pull the weeds out. Your weeds and ROOT will come out. No more weed in that spot! You can't kill weeds unless you get the root. Hire someone to cut the grass. Put an ad up in your local supermarket on the bulletin board. Good Luck!
la solución más barata es poner cartón encima de las malas hierbas o privarlas de luz. Si estás dentro de la cespec, es mejor iniciarlos. el cartón se convierte en un fertilizante cuando se degrada
