We use deer fence you can buy at Home Depot it works wonders
Mothballs layered under the shrubs helps in my area. Layer at a rate of about 1 mothball per square foot.
GO TO THE LAWN AND GARDEN STORE AND GET SOME BLOOD MEAL. THIS WILL KEEP JUST ABOUT ANY VEGETATION EATER AWAY .
