Swag Lamp With Jazz

I found this rather plan looking light on Craigslist for $15.00 that was taken down from an older home, it was kind of a tan color with a brown stripe on it, from the 70's probably, it needed a little help, the wiring was for a ceiling and needed to be re-wired. So I made it into a swag lamp, so I can plug it in anywhere. This is what I did.

I took the lamp apart, it was filthy, cleaned every part, re-wired it
The globe with boring so I stenciled words and scrolling around the top to be a little more interesting.
After baking it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes it is now safe to clean and very durable.
I ordered some antique crystals, 46 of them and hung them around the metal.
The light has three settings, so you can have the bottom or top light on or both

Even during the day, it makes me smile with all of the words of wisdom around the globe.
