You will need to dig out the bulbs if you don't want them growing in a location and then allow grass to grow in or spread seed.
offer them to someone that will come and dig them up for their own garden. ................dig them up and give them away...................chop the tops down, put a little soil down, keep it mowed and they will go away
AFTER REMOVING ALL OF THE BULBS, LOOSEN THE SOIL WITH A POTATO FORK ( KINDA LIKE DIGGING POTATOES ) MAKE SURE THE SOIL IS NOT TO COMPACTED THEN JUST SOW GRASS SEED, WATER WELL, AND WHEN THE GRASS STARTS GROWING, ( YA' KNOW IT WILL HAVE TO BE CUT ) .
the best is to first remove the bulbs
