Vintage Schoolhouse Powder Room

We created a subtle schoolhouse theme in our tiny powder room by installing beadboard with a ledge type molding, chalkboard paint, and some school-themed accessories. It is a huge improvement from the wallpapered and mismatched bathroom we started with. A new mirror and light fixture add to the vintage feel.
I didn't want it to feel like the school from Little House on the Prairie over the top but I did add a few accessories in that vibe.
Everyone loves writing on the chalkboard walls! Guests always leave such sweet messages.
I scored this great magazine rack at Homegoods.
