To Distress or Not to Distress - That is ALWAYS the Question !!!

There are so many wonderful techniques to use when painting furniture - the key is figuring out what to do on each particular item !!!
I'm working on a dresser that I've painted with Annie Sloan's Graphite - slight distressing is in order - see last pic! ( and my blog for another )
A clean finish
A white wash
Dirty waxing
Current piece - light distressing around edges

That's beautiful! I'm still trying to learn the distressing. I just don't know how much and where....
    • @Michele Eures Always start off with a little around the edges - you can add as you go along - but that's the best place to start because that's where it would occur naturally over time - another great place is around the drawer pulls :) Thanks so much Michele! xxx
