This photo is a slate wall that I thought would be a great feature in a 1950's brick ranch.

The kitchen was challenged with limited space but had a classic feature of a window over the kitchen sink which provided tons of natural light to showcase the slate wall. This wall was blank so it served as the perfect canvas! I decided to spruce it up and give this area a decorative focal point and some much needed 'pizazz'! The granite countertops in this kitchen are a very unique pattern, i made sure that the tones did not clash with the wall and the colors/textures 'relate' to each other even though they dont 'match' one another. This project took approximately 5 days.
