I created this Christmas Tree from wood, it can be used as a tree, or as a shelf for teddy bears or books or whatever you'd like! What I did was I used plywood, 2x4s, and some glue! Here's how I did it:
First cut the plywood into the sizes and shapes that you'd like. I chose to make circles in varying sizes so once they are stacked, it will have the look of a tree!
You can choose to paint or stain the wood as well. I kept mine as they were.
Then using the 2x4s begin to stack them. I started with my largest circle and went smaller and smaller.
Once you have them all stacked as you'd like, you can add some tinsel as decoration. Just use some glue! I think this adds some real holiday charm.
This is what they look like once they are finished. With or without the tinsel. You can also choose decorate them a bit more with ornaments and the like.
You can use them however you'd like! These are perfect for the holiday season as decor or gifts :) Hope you like them!
We want to help you DIY, so some of the materials in this post are linked to sellers. Just so you know, Hometalk may collect a small share of sales from the links on this page.
