Knee wall paint ideas

Our master bedroom has never been completely done in the 12 years since my husband built our house except for primer. We are finally getting our bedroom done and are ready to paint... YAY! :) We have many Knee Walls in our bedroom so my question is what kind of painting or design is best for these kind of walls? I'm thinking of doing one color on the upper slanted half of the wall and another on the flat lower half to break it up a bit so it doesn't look so bland. Any ideas or thoughts on color/colors and design ideas? Maybe some pictures I could see. Any help is appreciated as after 12 years... I want to finally have my master bedroom retreat where I can relax and enjoy it instead of looking at this dreary and dreadful room each nite. Thanks everyone :)

Pick 2 tones of your most favorite color. put the darker of the two on the bottom to weight the room. The lighter on top will make it feel larger. Now's your chance... go-for-it!!

@Debbie Harris... ty would you go with the same color family? I was thinking very light on top like a white color but not true white and maybe burgundy on the bottom. Or would you think that is maybe to much of a color difference? Thanks for the help :)

Your color choices are personal and so which ever you choose will be great. If you are going with a white or similar color on the top will you add art or something to tie the burgandy to the rest of the room?
