A New Piece in Metallic Silver

I've been using metallic silver in my recent pieces. Getting use to it's consistency has taken a bit of time. It's super opaque but thin. It took about four coats to cover this piece. I did not prime it first but sanded it well then sealed it with Minwax Wipe-On Polyurethane after painting it.
Sanded the piece.
Taped off design.

Came upon this and thought...nice work of art now I am the spray can queen and I like the shinny of chrome paint... so yep did it! Now I would like to see you do something special for your woodpile next to your beautiful piece! I built a wood crate 6' tall and 3dx4w with heavy duty rollers...now its color is guess what? and I take it to door fill it and roll back to stove and no mess, well, maybe a little as I put wood into stove! But it is a BRITE spot and looks great! Thanks all to your idea! Thank you and have a beautiful day cause spring is coming!!!
  • Love this! You do such great work. I'm always impressed. The design you taped off takes this piece over the top!
