Try Restore-A -Finish. Available at big box stores like Home depot. Rub it on with a soft cloth, in the direction of the wood grain. Then rub off with a second cloth - the same way.
Try rubbing coconut oil with a micro fiber cloth
Wash it with Murphy's Oil Soap. Then polish as you normally do.
