I'd hang them side ways and hang copper kitchen pots, pans, utensils, etc. Just think of the way the verdigris patina on the older items will help your aqua pieces pop - and the fun you'll have flea market shopping! BTW, my kitchen is black, copper and that verdigris/turquoise.
mix bleach and windex + a little H20 spray it let it soak -wipe-wallah.
10% solution of bleach and water in a spray bottle.
