This may not be a question for you but about 4 months ago I hired a plumber to unclog my kitchen sink. When he had finished and left I think he left a big glob of grease that came out of my sink that he had taken out, he left laying on the ground under my house. Can I ask him to come back and clean it up?

He should have cleaned up, but since he didn't finish the job completely, I'd clean it up myself, less hassle. When you call a serviceman, and he comes out to do a job, ask if the fee includes clean up next time.

Yeah, that was a bad call on his part. Where I live he would have been fined and possibly have lost his license to work in our area. But your area could be different. I'd first call him and ask him why he didn't dispose of it and yes, ask him to return and dispose of it properly. If he gives you a hard time and your area has no contractor clean up laws, then call whoever collects your trash and ask them how to dispose of it. You certainly don't want it to end up in another drain system, perhaps causing a mess for someone else.

    Good luck!
